Lead the fastest-growing society on campus

Warwick Risk Management Society is thrilled to announce that we will be holding our annual elections on Monday, 5th of March 2018 at 7pm in PLT.

We were the fastest-growing society on campus this academic year and this is a testament to the growing interest in the areas we cover. More than ever, we are looking for motivated, talented and passionate leaders who will set their sights on bigger things and steer the society in the right direction.

We encourage everyone to take part in this year’s election. You may get involved by voting for candidates on election night or nominating yourself for a position. Plenty of pizza will be provided.

VOTING

  • Voters must have been members of Warwick Risk Management Society on or before Sunday, 4th of March 2018 at 23:59.
  • Voters must attend the elections in person and are entitled to one vote per position.
  • Voters are only allowed to vote for positions for which they were present for all of the candidate speeches for that position.

RUNNING FOR A POSITION

  • Candidates must be a member of the society by Sunday, 4th of March 2018 at 23:59.
  • Candidates will run for one position only. Available positions outlined below.
  • Candidates must nominate themselves for a position and submit their manifesto by Sunday, 4th of March 2018 at 23:59 using the following link: wrmsociety.com/elections
  • Candidates are expected to deliver a short speech on election night.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS | EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2018-2019

SENIOR EXECUTIVES:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

For the senior executive roles, you should have previous leadership experience.

TEAM COORDINATORS:

  • Head of Creative
  • Head of Corporate Relations & Operations
  • Head of Marketing
  • Head of Social Events

Team coordinators will be leading their team. They will be responsible for appointing team members once elected.

CAMPAIGNING PROCESS

Please adhere to the following rules regarding campaigning for candidates:

  • Candidates can publicly announce their candidacy only after they have nominated themselves and submitted their manifesto.
  • Candidates can campaign until the election on Monday, 5th of March 2018.

Please note that the current Executive Committee reserves the right to take disciplinary measures against candidates who do not adhere to our rules and regulations. Rules may change as decided by the current committee.
